LEARJET 45 Captain

PRIVAJET is seeking an experienced and safety-driven Learjet 45 Captain to join our flight operations team in Europe. This is a key operational role requiring strong technical expertise, leadership, and a customer-focused mindset. The successful candidate will serve as Pilot-in-Command, ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the Learjet 45 in line with company policies and regulatory standards.

As Captain, you will uphold the highest standards of airmanship, professionalism, and crew resource management (CRM). You will play a critical role in promoting a culture of safety, excellence, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate as Pilot-in-Command of Learjet 45 flights under EASA (or applicable authority) regulations and the company’s AOC.
Assume full operational responsibility and authority for assigned flights, ensuring safe, legal, and efficient conduct at all times.
Lead the flight crew throughout all phases of flight, including pre-flight planning, execution, and post-flight review.
Adhere strictly to company SOPs, regulatory standards, flight and duty limitations, and risk management practices.
Conduct thorough briefings, performance planning, and coordination with Dispatch, Ground Handling, and Maintenance.
Stay current on aircraft systems, procedures, NOTAMs, meteorology, and destination-specific information.
Mentor and support First Officers; contribute to training and safety improvement initiatives.
Represent PRIVAJET with professionalism in all interactions with clients, authorities, and third parties.

Minimum Requirements:

EASA ATPL(A) with a valid Learjet 45 type rating
Valid OPC/LPC
Flight Radio-Telephony Operator’s Licence (VHF and HF)
Minimum of 3,000 total flight hours, including at least 1,500 hours as PIC on multi-pilot, multi-engine turboprop/turbojet aircraft
Maximum age: 62 years

Additional Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (higher education preferred)
Fluent in English, minimum Level 4 qualification (additional languages are a plus)
Proven commitment to safety and customer satisfaction, even under pressure
Flexibility to travel and work irregular hours
Valid passport and/or work permit allowing residency and employment in Europe
Previous experience in Business Aviation is highly desirable
Additional type ratings or instructor qualifications (TRI/TRE) are an asset
EASA post holder training is advantageous

LEARJET 45 First Officer

Nominated Person Crew Training

PRIVAJET is a dynamic business aviation company committed to safety, excellence, and regulatory compliance. We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated aviation professional to join our Flight Operations Department as the Nominated Person Crew Training. This key EASA AOC post-holder role requires formal approval by the competent authority (e.g., TM-CAD).

The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight and continuous improvement of all pilot and cabin crew training programs. This includes maintaining the highest standards of training, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Assume full accountability for the standards and compliance of all pilot and crew training programs.
Promote a proactive safety and training culture throughout the organisation.
Maintain and continuously improve pilot and cabin crew training programs, including CRM, LVP, and regulatory check standards.
Set and enforce training standards in line with company policies, EASA regulations, and operational best practices.
Act as the primary liaison with TM-CAD and other authorities on all training-related matters.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date training records are maintained for all crew members.
Coordinate with the Rostering Department to schedule required training and checks efficiently.
Lead the development, amendment, and quality assurance of key training documentation, including:
- Operations Manual Part D
- Flight Crew Training Manual
- SEP Manual
Organise and lead regular training meetings to address issues, review performance, and align objectives.
Develop training programs for new aircraft types and operational changes.
Support the recruitment and qualification of pilot trainers.
Collaborate closely with the Nominated Person Flight Operations, Safety Department, Rostering Team, and TM-CAD.

Minimum Requirements:

Current Type Rating Examiner (TRE) or Type Rating Instructor (TRI) on a Learjet 45.
Significant experience in airline or business aviation flight operations and training management.
Proven leadership in delivering multidisciplinary training programs for both flight and cabin crew.
Deep understanding of EASA regulations, including Part-ORO and Part-ARA, and ICAO Annexes relevant to training and safety.
Demonstrated success in regulatory engagement and compliance oversight.

Additional Requirements:

High school diploma (higher education preferred).
Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
Valid passport and/or work permit for employment in Europe.
Previous experience in business aviation is highly desirable.
Excellent organisational, communication, and decision-making skills.
